Mobile MIM App Reviews

This application does exactly what it is intended to do and it does it well. It is an ADJUNCT to MIMvistas excellent high-end diagnostic-quality software for reading FUSION modalities (e.g., PET/CT, SPECT/CT, and PET/MR). It is a highly specialized item designed to facilitate the convenient distribution by nuclear medicine/radiology specialists of representative, but non-diagnostic quality, images of FUSION modalities to referring physicians and patients. It is not intended to be a general DICOM reader for non-fusion modalities, not a stand-alone diagnostic quality reader, not a self-instruction tool, and not a toy to amuse those idle or cranky. Kudos to MIMvista for this excellent useful adjunct. We look forward to their native Mac OSX dedicated diagnostic-quality FUSION reader.

This app is a powerful tool considering its being demonstrated on a phone. Keep in mind this is only a demo and if you ever needed these medical services this is certainly a breakthrow in medical imagery for doctor and patient. So its not useless just because you dont need it. One more thing though, is it me or is it really a fact that the view icon in the bottom left corner on this app not match the brain image front, side, and top view?

This is a really great app and I am amazed it is free. Really powerful and it will come in handy in my anatomy class. Great job MIM you made a great app.

As a radiation oncology student this app. Is absolutely fantastic!! How it is free is a mistery. And for those of you who just want to write a bad review for the hell of it. Your minds wouldnt understand the power of this application if they wanted to! Mim=awesome!!! Thanks! :)

This app is nifty. It shows you great pictures and you can easily slide from one view to another, it is the color/ brightness change that is hard, but for free it works. What I dont understand is how to download new pics. If they could give a small paragraph of how to do that, it would be awesome! Thanks!

I dont understand why people complaint so much about great apps like this one, and when theyre free. You dont like it? delete it and shut up. You dont need to hurt the makers with your lame reviews...

I love this app

I am a radiologist. For those who dont know, I make a living interpretting studies like the ones included here. This is an excellent tool that allows the clinician to easily show patients their imaging studies and therefore communicate the results more effectively. A simply powerful concept! Ask yourself, before you let somebody operate on you, wouldnt you like to see with your own eyes why? If your oncologist says the chemotherapy is working, wouldnt you like to see the tumor shrinking? My congratulations to the developers for creating a conduit of information to the patients.

Every study we upload to mimcloud from PACS looks blank on mim mobile. Also mimcloud registration isnt possible in iOS. Needs some work before this is clinically useful. Interface is great. Just need to get the studies to mobile devices reliably.

This app no longer works for the 2G, I restored my phone today, but forgot to backup the app, and now its lost forever. Ill be without this useful app until iPhone 5 comes out. Nice to be able to read scans on the go. Not a big deal.

Do not upgrade to this version. Unstable. Crashes immediately at launch.

I have the new iPad and this app crashes within a few seconds of opening it. Very disappointing I was really looking forward to playing with this app and seeing some cool stuff.
